SEP Staff Pay Tribute to Revolutionary Martyrs Before Tomb Sweeping Day

On April 1, 2019, ahead of the traditional Chinese Tomb Sweeping Day, SEP organized an event to pay tribute to revolutionary martyrs at Longhua Martyrs Cemetery, in order to practice socialist core values and lead all the staff to cherish the memory of revolutionary martyrs. SEP Party Secretary and Chairman Wang Yundan, Party Committee Member and CFO Chen Wenhao, related leaders of SPIC Aluminum International Trading, SPIC Talent College and CPIPEC, and more than 230 SEP employees including Party members, applicants for Party membership and youth League members participated in the event.

In front of the revolutionary martyrs monument, everyone held flowers, stood in silent tribute and bowed three times, expressing their sincere reverence and commemoration towards the revolutionary martyrs.

At the grave of revolutionary martyr Wang Xiaohe, an outstanding representative of the working class, Wang Yundan accompanied Wang Peimin, daughter of Wang Xiaohe, presented flowers and paid homage to the martyr. All the participants presented flowers, bowed to the martyr and paid tribute in turn to show their sincere respect amid the flying Party and League flags.

It is the long-lasting cherished tradition of SEP to visit the tomb of revolutionary martyrs before Tomb Sweeping Day every year, which has become an important content of revolutionary tradition and patriotism education for the company. SEP cadres and staff will inherit and carry forward good revolutionary traditions, stay true to the mission and keep it in mind, dare to shoulder responsibilities, make concerted efforts to push forward the implementation of SPIC's "first-class strategy in 2035", and greet the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with outstanding achievements.
