Huahu Coal-fired Tianji Power Plant Phase II project plans to extend 2 sets of 660,000-kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired power units, and install flue gas desulfurization and denitration devices for higher power efficiency and lower energy consumption; this project is the encouraged project according to Guidance Objective of Industrial Restructuring Adjustment. This project is involved in China’s planning of “eastward transmission of Anhui electric power”, with the power it generates transmitted to Shanghai. This project has been approved and authorized by National Development and Reform Commission on December 18th 2012.
