On February 17, SEP Chairman and Party Secretary Wang Yundan went to Yangshupu Power Plant for an inspection on work safety duty execution. He listened to the work summary of safety production in 2016, key tasks of safety production in 2017 and the report of demolition work preparation by the power plant, and examined the rectification work of the problems found during last year's inspection tour on duty execution.

Wang raised a few requirements for work safety and demolition project of the power plant as follows: first, implement the responsibility system of work safety resolutely and carry out the dynamic supervision work with leaders "on duty" and project management personnel standing by in compliance with the guideline of exhaustive and thorough safety management with full coverage and leaving no dead angles; second, make great efforts to beef up outsourcing team management, treat the EPC contractor of the demolition project with high standards and strict requirements, strengthen safety education and training and make sure that construction workers "do the right thing and do things in a right way", intensify examination and approval of outsourcing personnel information and related situation, special equipment and special operation personnel, and have a good command of the physical and mental conditions of outsourcing personnel before granting entry to the power plant; third, complete the demolition work carefully, take the caring of the municipal and district governments into consideration, and manage the relationship with the surrounding environment and residents harmoniously; fourth, keep on with a good spiritual outlook of the working team, enhance the sense of honor and pride for the team, and cultivate the sense of responsibility for the management personnel; fifth, actively perform the safety supervision duties as the owner's company in various aspects including the production and operation companies inside the power plant area; sixth, complete the demolition work in a safe and smooth manner with "high quality, high efficiency and zero error" and in line with the schedule, and maintain a good situation of overall stable safety conditions in 2017.

Wang and his delegation also went deep into the production site, and checked the safety rectification items and the safety situation of decommissioned zones such as the old steam turbine room.

The leaders of SEP General Office, Production Department, Safety, Quality and Environmental Protection Department and Party-masses Department accompanied Wang on the inspection.
