Huang Chen Meets with Shenergy Group Chairman Huang Dinan

On September 3, Huang Chen, Chairman of Shanghai Electric Power, met with Huang Dinan, Chairman of Shenergy Group, at the Company’s headquarters. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on further deepening cooperation and strengthening synergy. Shi Pingyang, Vice President of Shenergy Group and Chairman of Shenergy Company Limited; Chen Tao, President of Shenergy Company Limited; Tian Jiandong and Chen Zhichao, Vice Presidents of Shanghai Electric Power, attended the meeting.
Huang Chen welcomed the Shenergy Group delegation. He said that Shanghai Electric Power and Shenergy Group have built deep mutual trust and have continuously strengthened their strategic partnership, striving to create a model of a powerful alliance between central and local state-owned energy enterprises and jointly providing robust energy support for Shanghai’s high-quality development. He noted that in recent years Shanghai Electric Power has steadily expanded in overseas clean energy and accumulated rich experience in international development and management. He expressed the hope that both sides would continue their friendship and cooperate in good faith, not only advancing domestic green development together but also complementing each other’s strengths in the international energy market, jointly burnishing the overseas brandof “Shanghai Energy” and writing a new chapter in green development.
Huang Dinan thanked Shanghai Electric Power for its warm reception. He noted that Shenergy Group has long been deeply engaged in energy industrial chains both in Shanghai and beyond, with mature layouts and deep experience in energy trading and resource security. He hoped that the two sides would “join hands to form one powerful fist ,” jointly push projects from planning to implementation, and team up in clean energy project development and whole-industrial-chain coordination, extending the banner of the central-local cooperation model overseas and making further contributions to the development of Shanghai’s energy industry.
