On September 12, Huang Chen, managing director of SEP (acting as Chairman of the Board) and General Manager, held a conference with Mila Nenova, Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency. Tian Jiandong, Deputy General Manager of SEP, also attended the meeting.

Huang Chen extended a sincere welcome to Mila Nenova and her delegation, and provided a detailed overview of SEP’s global business portfolio, with a particular focus on its development strategy and investment priorities in Europe. He noted that SEP holds an optimistic view of the prospects of Bulgaria’s new energy market and stands ready to contribute actively to the country’s green energy transition. Huang Chen expressed his hope that the Bulgarian Investment Agency would offer policy guidance and facilitate resource coordination to support SEP in advancing its local new energy projects and ensuring the smooth implementation of future cooperation.

Mila Nenova expressed her gratitude for SEP’s warm reception and highly commended its strength and experience in the field of energy investment. She expressed her wholehearted welcome to SEP’s planned entry into the Bulgarian market. Nenova emphasized that, as a bridge between the government and enterprises, the Bulgarian Investment Agency will actively provide comprehensive support to investors, including the sharing of investment information, interpretation of policies, recommendation of high-quality projects, and facilitation of potential partnerships, so as to create a favorable environment for enterprises to develop in Bulgaria.
