On February 12, Huang Chen, the General Manager of SEP, led a safety inspection at the Caojing No. 2 Power Plant, with Tian Jiandong, the Deputy General Manager, also participating.
Mr. Huang and his team visited key construction sites, including the cooling water pipes, chimney, and boiler steel frame hoisting areas. They conducted a thorough assessment of safety management, identified potential hazards, and reviewed project management and post-holiday resumption preparations.
Mr. Huang outlined the following key requirements for the project’s continued progress:
Firstly, we must prioritize safety risk management at the construction sites and intensify “grid-based” management. Ensure that all participating parties fulfill their supervisory roles to guarantee comprehensive and effective safety oversight.
Secondly, we must strengthen the control of subcontractor teams by comprehensively reviewing the personnel structure of outsourced construction teams and effectively promoting the “integrated management” of contractors.
Thirdly, we must maximize the effectiveness of the assurance system by reinforcing technical supervision and the “four major controls” during the construction process, ensuring safe and high-quality project progression.
Fourthly, we must benchmark against advanced domestic units, conduct in-depth studies on economic efficiency, and fully utilize design optimization to provide strong support for high-quality development.
The inspection was attended by key representatives from the company’s thermal power department, safety and environment department, and the Caojing No. 2 Power Plant.
